When a meteor crashes into the Arizona desert, local community college professors Ira Kane and Harry Block are shocked to discover that it has introduced rapidly evolving aliens to earth. Although the professors try to keep their discovery a secret, the U.S. military takes over the investigation, sealing off the fantastic creatures and the environment that the aliens have established. But when the aliens start popping up on nearby golf courses and in the local mall, it's up to Kane and Block to save the world. With a little help from Allison Reed, a clumsy scientist with the Center for Disease Control, and Wayne Green, a dim-witted fire-man wannabe, the two professors device a plan using an unlikely weapon to kill the alien population before it wipes out the human race.

This is a great hangover picture, it won't cure your misery but it will definately cushion the blow.

Story: 5/10 - Ivan "Ghostbusters" Reitman has replaced the ghosts with aliens, it worked before so why shouldn't it work again, right!

Acting: 7/10 - Duchovny and Jones make an amusing pair, and Julianne Moore is a class A actor.

Violence: 0/10 - Not unless you consider having a bug-like alien retracted from your anus violent.

Nudity: 0/10 - Bring the kids, it's all good clean fun.

Coolness: 7/10 - Silly and Goofy, without a single serious thought in mind.
